If you pay for your meal, the standard order for payment is: blocks/meals > Flexible dollars > DineXtra > Plaid Cash. Please inform the cashier if you wish to use a different order. Your menu, which contains meal blocks and FLEXible Spending Dollars (FLEX), is coded on your Carnegie Mellon ID card, along with all the additional DineXtra funds you`ve purchased. Visit one of our more than 35 gourmet establishments to use your food blocks, FLEX or DineXtra funds. The cashier will simply delete your card and you`ll be on your way! Your order is delivered between 11 .m. and 2p.m. at your door, including lunch and dinner as well as breakfast for the next day. If you hear the blows, please wait 5 minutes before opening your door to bring your meal into the room. To order meals for the next day (and still to order), please register an account at CaterTrax. For students who live in Walnut Ridge Apartments, North Avenue Apartments, Orchard Avenue Apartments or other off-campus residences, there are meal plans that have been created solely for YOU! If you`re staying on campus for a snack or a meal, don`t lose the “awesome” parking you found during the day! Meals consist of an appetizer, a drink and a side (s) at a price. The food blocks are offered on each campus site and offer a value compared to the purchase of each item on the map. During each meal can be used up to two meal blocks. If you are a parent, legal guardian or family member of a CMU student, you can make the purchase for your student by clicking here. All you need to know is the student`s CMU-ID. Don`t worry if you`re not sure which plan is right for you. Eating habits can often change at university, so we give you the flexibility to adapt them. Meal plans for first- and first-year students living in university residences are activated as soon as students move in. Students can use both blocks and FLEX at selected gastronomic establishments on campus. Please note that during the 14-day modified quarantine, students must be allowed to collect food, find a place where physical renunciation is possible, or then return to their residence and limit contact between people and people in contact. A vegetarian option will be available at each meal. If you have allergies or food intolerances or need a vegan, kosher or halal meal, use the special instruction box to describe your culinary needs. All first-year students must choose a traditional meal plan. Our traditional meal plans give students the flexibility to eat a different number of meals each day according to your preferences. Meal plan Purchases are final and non-refundable, unless otherwise stated in the refund policy. Our meal plans offer the flexibility to eat in our “All you care to eat” dining room or in one of our retail restaurants. Plans are developed flexibly. Food blocks and associated FLEXible dollars are not transferable.
